Since today is #givingTuesday and the great rush of shopping seems to be done, why not give back to the science community?
Canada Helps- Cumberland Geological Association funds the educational geology and paleontology museum of the Bay of Fundy aptly named Fundy Geological Museum in Nova Scotia. It is a community driven museum that can use your help and has some wonderfully organized programs for adults and children to explore the rich fossil and geological history, tour the fossil cliffs, and during certain events you can even discover some yourself during public digs. The museum has a small research lab, fossils on display, and exhibits filled to the brim with details for the kids to soak up the knowledge.
